Dave Davies "Have played guitar, keyboards and bass with Dave both live and in the studio since 1997. I am featured on the North American version of 'Unfinished Business', the 'Fortis Green' CD and his upcoming CD 'Bug'." David Gray "I played with David Gray from 1993 through 1996. I am featured on his second and third CDs 'Flesh' and 'Sell, Sell, Sell'. On 'Flesh' I played bass and 'Sell, Sell, Sell' I produced the record as well as playing bass, lead guitar and some keyboards. I toured all over the world with him and part of that was two tours with Radiohead. In late 1996, he got out of the record deal he had with EMI and since they had been paying for me to travel to and from London to play with Dave, that was the end of our playing together." Maria McKee "I played with Maria from 1993 to 1995 which included recording the CD 'Life Is Sweet'. I also cowrote two songs on the album with her. I toured all over the world with her and this is how I met David Gray...he opened a US tour of hers in 1993." The Wondermints "I have played live with these guys since early 1998 and have traveled to England and Japan with them. They have been Brian Wilson's touring band for a number of years but I wasn't part of that. They already had a bass player and drummer when the Wondermints came on board. Through the Wondermints I have played with Brian twice which was a big, big thrill...he's one of my heroes! I was also on a short lived TV show with them called Get Real." Rufus Wainwright "I played live with Rufus for about eight months in 1998 during which time we traveled all over the US and Canada and did a two week co-headling tour with Sean Lennon. Kristian Hoffman got me the job as Rufus had put him in charge of putting together his band." Ann Magnuson "Ann was another person I played with through my association with Kristian. They were long time friends and when her regular bass player dropped out in 1997 I stepped in for a couple years. We played regularly in LA and traveled to New York and San Francisco as well." Kristian Hoffman "I played with Kristian around the time of the release of his second solo record 'Earthquake Weather'. We did a number of shows in LA and then I was replaced." Wednesday Week "This is the band I played with from 1985-1990. We had one record called 'What We Had' that led to a couple videos on MTV, a couple North American tours and an appearance on the Arsenio Hall Show. The band was three quarters female and I ended up marrying the lead singer with whom I have two great kids." The Last "This is the band I was in with my brothers from 1978-1981. This was my first band and we were part of the late 70s punk scene in LA. We played with a bunch of great bands and released a couple of albums." |
