John Easdale interview,

August 2004

When I asked if he would answer some questions about Kristian for this website here's what John had to say:

" It would be an honor and a privilege to be included on your Kristian web site. I am a huge fan of the man and his multiple talents...it's a term that's become overused, but he is truly a "renaissance" man, excelling at songwriting, painting and drawing, and his musical skills are also prodigious, to say the least. He's always sartorially splendid, and in my experience has always exhibited a droll sense of humor and sarcasm. One of my proudest accomplishments in life is having been able to introduce Kristian to Greg Dwinnell, who released his wonderful albums on eggBERT Records."

How did you meet Kristian?

I was a big fan of Kristian's band w/Lance Loud, The Mumps...we had their
45s...we were gonna be guest hosts of Rodney Bingenheimer's radio show in Los
Angeles and we invited Lance and Kristian on as guests. I then introduced them
both to my best friend, Greg Dwinnell, who went on to release all of Kristian's
solo albums, as well as the long overdue Mumps album, on his label, eggBERT
Records. I am very proud of having been able to facilitate that.

Did you ever work with Kristian?

I have had the extreme pleasure of performing live with Kristian on numerous
occasions, but we have yet to work together in a studio setting. I'm hoping it
will happen someday, and I look forward to that day with great anticipation.

Do you have a favourite Kristian song?

I like them all...he is a brilliant songwriter.
